Rowan Helping Ministries is feeling the need this winter.

Officials of the local ministry say the food pantry is running low on boxed starches such as mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, pasta and boxed rice.  An increase in the need for food items has depleted the supply to some extent.

Donations of these items, or of cash, would be appreciated, and anyone who wants to make a donation can take it by Rowan Helping Ministries, 226 N. Long Street, in Salisbury.
