(WBTV) The snow that fell on Sunday night is not causing a lot of problems on Monday morning in Salisbury and Rowan County.
Aside from a two hour delay for Rowan-Salisbury Schools and a downed power line on Amity Hill Road in western Rowan, things were pretty quiet, and road conditions weren’t bad.
Gary Eagle, making a morning bread delivery in downtown Salisbury at Hap’s Grill. told WBTV he hasn’t seen but a couple of spots that even had anything on them.
Major roads around Salisbury like Innes, Main, and Jake Alexander Boulevard were damp with just an occasional spot of slush.
Police reported that there had been several traffic accidents on Sunday night, but that things had quieted down by Monday morning. Schools in neighboring Iredell County were operating on a three hour delay.
